Shipping
We aim to dispatch all online orders within 48 hours, however this varies for domestic vs international. 

Domestic (Melbourne --> the rest of Australia) 
We currently ship all packages via Startrack Courier. Please check with your local post office for an estimate. Your tracking number will be emailed to you directly from the shipping partner when your order is dispatched. Please ensure you provide a valid email address and contact number.

All parcels are marked as 'Authority to Leave'. If you do not want this selection made, leave a comment in the comments section at checkout advising so. Please keep in mind that if no one is home to sign for the parcel, it may be delivered to your nearest parcel collection point or returned to Seven Seeds.

International (Melbourne --> most countries)
All shipping is with Australia Post Express Courier.
Please allow 2 - 5 days for delivery. 
You will receive a tracking number from Australia Post when the order is dispatched. Please ensure you enter a valid email address.

Please note there can be service disruptions; which Seven Seeds cannot bear responsibility for. It is your responsibility to provide a secure and attended delivery address.

We do not ship on public holidays or weekends.

What is your return policy for chocolate purchases 
Please note, we place a large emphasis on quality control. We are producing daily, which means only chocolate that meets our strict quality standards will make it out the door. With this in mind, we cannot guarantee refunds on chocolate purchases.

If you have purchased chocolate from Birdsnake and are not satisfied and wish to cancel the remainder due to dissatisfaction, please email hello@birdsnake.com.au.

What is your return policy for merchandise purchases 
If merchandise and apparel is broken or defective upon arrival, you may return or exchange the product within 7 days from purchase.

If you want to make a return on merchandise and/or apparel that is not broken or defective, the product must be unused, in its' original packaging and within 7 days from purchase. If we receive the product and it appears to be used you will not be refunded.

Birdsnake does not cover the return shipping cost for the product. For international packages, we are willing to replace merchandise damaged in transit. However, we would need the damaged goods returned and unfortunately we cannot cover the shipping costs. Please contact hello@birdsnake.com.au and someone from our team will get back to you with further information.

Oops, I made a mistake with my order, can I change it?
In some circumstances - yes. However, please note that we pack orders 18 -24hrs after you have placed the order may be tricky to cancel.

If you need to change or cancel an order please email us hello@birdsnake.com.au. as soon as possible.

Is your chocolate fairtrade?
Our chocolate does not carry the fair trade certification, however, we source on a Direct Trade basis. We generally pay around double the Fair Trade price and the cacao we purchase is sourced directly from farmers or co-operatives by our very own chocolatiers who regularly travel to origin.

Is your chocolate organic?
Our main focus is taste, quality & clarity – which is ultimately the result of careful and sustainable farming practices. Although some of our chocolates may be organic, we do not advertise our chocolate as being so.

Is your chocolate vegan?
Yes.

Is your chocolate gluten-free?
Yes.
